Scotland’s Stunning Scenery
I just love the mystical and natural look of the Scottish nature and its historic treasures. There are a lot of coasts, ancient castles and vast highlands to discover.
No wonder why so many filmmakers have used this location for their projects. The epic scenery was backdrop in films like “Braveheart”, “Highlander”, “Skyfall”, “Harry Potter”, “Trainspotting” and the popular “Outlander” series.
Isle Of Skye
Embedded in a rugged rocky landscape the Old Men Of Storr overlooks majestically the wild and wide country.
Also on the Isle of Skye, at Loch Dunvegan, there is a very special sandy beach: the Coral Beach.
Eilean Donan Castle
In the western Highlands of Scotland this absolutly picturesque castle passed the centuries.
The legendary Loch Ness with or without his monster… who knows…
If we are already at the lakes:
Isle of Mull
The second largest island of the Inner Hebrides after Skye and a truly picture-postcard of a place:
A beautiful village with the stunning Clachtoll Beach.
Known as “Queen of the Hebrides” and the fine Malt Whiskies.
Landscape like a fairy tale but with an bloody historic: the Battle of Stirling, the First War of Scottish Independence. The Stirling Bridge is still visible as a monument.
The capital city of Scotland with its beautiful ancient town also offers a gorgeous pearl of nature. In Holyrood Park the Arthur’s Seat is an imposing peak with amazing views.
Away from the modern Aberdeen this picture was taken – very wild-romantic.
